Export a Storyline course to PowerPoint

Drop in a .story file and download the course as an editable PowerPoint deck. The conversion runs in your browser, so the course never leaves your computer.

What comes across

• Every slide, with its text as real, editable text: bullets, numbering, bold, italic and links
• Shapes as PowerPoint shapes, including callouts and arrows, and lines with their arrowheads
• Pictures, icons and tables
• Every layer, as its own slide after the slide it belongs to
• Narration and slide notes in the speaker notes
• Questions and drag-and-drop drawn as they look, with the answer keys and feedback in the speaker notes
• MP4 video and MP3 sound, embedded
• Buttons that go to a slide or open a layer, as links in the slide show

What stays in Storyline

Animations, triggers and variables do not carry over. Questions in the deck show the question and its choices; they are not scored. WebM videos are named in the speaker notes instead of embedded.

• Handing a course to an SME or reviewer who works in PowerPoint
• Instructor-led or classroom delivery of an e-learning course
• Sending content to a translation or legal review that works from slides
• Giving stakeholders a copy of the course they can read and mark up in PowerPoint

How it works
